We launched several new features in April, including updates to the Modeling Experience and Management Reporting

  • Users can create a UX app, Page, and category from within the Modeling Experience. Follow our [First Look] blog over on Community to find out more.
  • Remove Limit for List Rest Index: Previously, the list index limit was 900 million when there were no items in the list. This update allows users the discretion to reset their lists at any point on the basis the list is empty.
  • API - Bulk Model Delete: Users will be able to self-serve and delete multiple models. The Bulk Delete API accepts a comma separated list of ModelGuids. Upon sending the request, the ModelGuids in the list would be deleted.
The response returned will display how many models were deleted. If any Model's couldn't be deleted, the specific ModelGuids on which models weren't deleted would also be returned.
  • Disable Export on grids: You can disable the export option in any grid. This is especially useful in scenarios where you may want to restrict what data a user can export. Check out Anapedia for more information.
  • Export a Table to csv in Report page: Export the data from a table in a Report page to a csv like any grid on a Board or Worksheet. The availability of the export can be toggled on or off by the Page Builder. This option will be enabled for all new Tables but will be disabled for existing Tables so existing reports aren't impacted. Check out Anapedia for more information.

  • Chart Updates:
    • More granular control of chart settings per series
    • Additional chart settings for line charts
  • User Uploaded images: Builders will be able to upload and store images securely in Anaplan. These images will be available for use across the tenant for consistent imagery across Pages, and will appear in exported PDF Management Reports.
  • Custom column widths: Page builders will be able to set custom column widths on grids, worksheets and tables using the right hand panel. Builders will also be able to set width overrides by line item, similar to the functionality in Classic.
  • Report Page Insights Panel: Users can make use of an Insights Panel to the right side of the screen to see data in related Cards or input commentary or values to update the Report directly. This will be similar to the Worksheet Insights Panel vailable today.
