We are pleased to announce the New Modeling Experience as the default experience in February 2023.
Why are we making the New Modeling Experience default?
The long-term goal is to make modeling in Anaplan more intuitive with a lower barrier to entry. Part of that goal is to make model builders more efficient and productive while building their models. The New Modeling Experience provides users with one consistent and integrated experience across the platform. By simplifying the planning and modeling experience, we are able to deliver faster and safer platform capabilities and bug fixes.
What does this mean?
When you log into Anaplan, all of your models will open in the New Modeling Experience by default.
Will I be able to switch back to Classic?
Yes. Existing users will be able to switch back to Classic via:
- A link on the navigation.
- Help menu option.
New customers will be onboarded to the New Modeling Experience and will have no access to classic.
