Why is this maintenance window longer than usual?
We know that any downtime is a disruption, and we want to be upfront about why these windows are longer than our standard 4-hour windows.
This migration represents a significant, one-time evolution of our platform infrastructure. The extended maintenance window is a deliberate part of the plan to ensure our engineering teams can perform this work with the utmost care. This additional time will enable our engineers to conduct extensive validation checks, ensuring a seamless and secure transition.
Will the platform look or feel different afterward?
No. This is purely a "behind-the-scenes" infrastructure upgrade. It's important to know that there are no changes to the Anaplan application code itself. The Anaplan user interface, model functionality, and platform features will remain the same.
How is the platform validated after the maintenance?
Our migration plan has a comprehensive validation process built directly into it. Our teams perform extensive, rigorous testing before the platform is brought back online, ensuring it's fully operational the moment the maintenance is complete.
What you need to do
We don’t require any action from you. The platform will be unavailable for impacted customers during the announced windows and will be fully operational immediately afterward.
